Kristin holds Pilates mat and apparatus certifications from the Kane School of Core Integration, a BFA in dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, and a BA in English Literature from Rutgers College. She's certified as a Pilates for Multiple Sclerosis practitioner and is a member of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). Her supplemental education includes continuing explorations into anatomy, archival Pilates mat work, Functional Anatomy for Movement Injury (FAMI), Ideokinesis, kinesiology, Skinner Release Technique, and Somatic Experiencing. 

Kristin currently lives and works in upstate New York's Hudson Valley. She has taught students aged 2 to 82 through Pilates, somatics, guided movement improvisation, and as a classroom teacher. Kristin believes that so long as you are living you are learning and infuses sessions with a sense of curiosity and active listening, astutely following the line of inquiry found within the body.
